Attraction - Finding the Power in Your Dreams

Let's face it... the world is full of people with sad, wistful dreams of living a better life. But their dream is not throbbing vibrantly in their heart. Instead, it's drifting far away, out there somewhere, out of reach, out of touch, out of sight.

It's floating way out there in a time called someday, but never right here, right now.

Have you ever watched horses and the people who ride them? I once had a girlfriend who owned two horses. They were both high-spirited, energetic and fractious, and I was not at all comfortable around them. But she was totally confident. In fact, she had their absolute obedience.

When she handled those horses, she was utterly confident, knew exactly what she was doing, and could make those two animals obey her every command.

I, on the other hand, was always skittish around them, and they sensed it. Around me they were balky, temperamental and bad-tempered.

Please understand, I didn't hate those horses. I thought they were incredibly beautiful creatures, but I didn't feel any confidence around them. Their behavior, in turn, perfectly reflected my attitude.

Now, life is a lot like those horses. If you're half-scared of it, you'll get little or no cooperation.

Success in life -- getting the results you want from it -- is much more than appreciating how beautiful it is. And it's more than just telling it what to do.

It takes a certain kind of confidence to get the big successes and the years of continuous prosperity that you've been dreaming about. Dreaming is not a bad start. Certainly it's better than despair. But it's only a start.
