What Is the Law of Attraction?

The Law of Attraction has become a "buzz term" recently, mostly because of the movie The Secret that acts like a documentary on 'bringing out the best in your self'. But what does this term really mean to you? Is it just another bait-phrase to get you to purchase221D yet another self-help course, or is there something of real meaning behind it?

The Law of Attraction can be taken in several contexts. In terms of business or relationships, it can mean 'like attracts like'. If you own a business and you want to hire a certain kind of individual, you need to be able to attract that kind of individual to your company.

If you own a company that does 1 million in revenue and you want to hire a manager to take the company to 10 million, how are you going to attract that kind of manager? You need to portray your company in a way that shows that individual that you are capable of growing that much. You need to cast an image onto that person a vision of what your company is going to be like, how you need their help, and show them how their talents are going to be used to better the company. This is like magnetically attracting people to your business.

One thing that cannot be denied is the factor of a positive attitude in the law of attraction. Many have said that 'opposites attract,' while this is simply not true in reality. If you want to attract positive experiences, positive people, and positive results in your life... you need to first think and behave positively.

I can personally say that the more positive words that I have spoken ... the positive seeds I've planted... have harvested into a positive crop. The more I spoke and thought about helping other people and growing my company, the more people I helped and the more my company grew.

Put simply... to attract more of what you want in your life, you need to give more of it out...
